Automatic Carton Composition Fields in the NetSuite Connector

We've added automatic carton composition tracking to the Orderful NetSuite Connector's packing flows, so every carton now records what's actually inside it.

What's new

• Carton Total Quantity – Every carton automatically records the total quantity of items packed into it, kept up to date whenever items are added or removed.
• Carton Makeup – Each carton is automatically classified as Mixed, Single Item, or Single Style, based on what's packed inside.
• Carton Item – For a Single Item or Single Style carton, the specific item (or shared style) is captured automatically; it's left blank for Mixed cartons.
• Works with manual and automatic packing – These fields populate the same way whether cartons are packed by hand in the packing app or built automatically through Auto Pack.

What to expect

These fields populate automatically the next time a carton is created or updated — no setup is required. You can use Carton Makeup to route mixed-item cartons and single-style cartons to different label templates. Cartons packed before this update will populate the next time they're saved; nothing is backfilled automatically.
