Trade Request statuses

When a new Trade Request has been submitted, it will move through a series of statuses.

You can see the status of a Trade Request go to your Trade Request settings page. To see Trade Requests that have been Accepted, Rejected, or Cancelled select Show Hidden in the upper right of the page.

Definition

Pending

The Trade Request has been submitted by the sender and is targeting a claimedclaimed - An organization is claimed when it is an Orderful customer. Unclaimed organizations are ones that are being modelled inside Orderful but are not customers. LeaderLeader - A Trading Partner that defines EDI Guidelines is known as a “Leader” within Orderful. A Trading Partner that follows EDI Guidelines is known as a “Follower”. This label is always relative, which means that a company can be a Follower relative to one Trading Partner and a Leader relative to another. or FollowerFollower - A Trading Partner that follows EDI Guidelines is known as a “Follower”. The company that defines EDI Guidelines is known as a "Leader"..

AND

The recipient hasn't accepted or rejected it.


The Leader of the Trade Request can add or remove Scenarios.

Pending requirements

Requirements review

The onboarding form with the unclaimed Leader's requirements has been submitted and is under review by the Orderful team.

Accepted

The recipient has accepted the Trade Request.

The Trade Partnership and RelationshipRelationship - A Relationship is a directional EDI data connection between two EDI Accounts in Orderful. Each Relationship is either “inbound” or “outbound” and is for a particular document type (for example an 850 Purchase Order).(s) will be created based on the Scenarios included in the Trade Request.

Rejected

The recipient has rejected the Trade Request.

No Trade Partnership has been created.

Cancelled

The sender has cancelled the Trade Request.
