Tasks

Tasks make clear to the user the action they need to take for that partnership or relationship to move to the next step or if they are blocked, who is causing the block and why. Tasks show up in the place they belong, so context is obvious:

• Partnership — overall connection with a trading partner
• Relationship / Transaction type — e.g., 850 or 855 for that partner

Progress

• Setup — create the partnership, channels, guidelines, and relationship configuration
• Testing — create, send, and validate test transactions
• Go-Live — everything is ready for production
• Live — data is being shared in production

Waiting (manual) If progress is waiting on something, a task is manually marked Waiting by Orderful team members to make that visible to everyone. Blocking is a communication state: it doesn’t create extra tasks. Standard block reasons

• Waiting on integration
• Waiting on test files
• Waiting on testing
• Waiting on other (custom reason)
