Work with the Task Table
Read the Onboarding Tasks table, understand task status and urgency, and use search, filters, and grouping to find the tasks you need.
The Onboarding Tasks page is a single table of every task you can see. It opens with no grouping, sorted by Urgency with the most urgent tasks first and tasks with no urgency last.
Columns
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Task | The task's title. |
| Assigned To | The person, team, or trading partner responsible for the task. Tasks assigned to a trading partner show Trading Partner. |
| Urgency | How urgent the task is: Urgent, High, Medium, or Low. A dash means no urgency is set. |
| Status | Where the task stands. See Status below. |
| Related To | The trading partner the task is for, or Your Organization for tasks that aren't tied to one partner. |
| Due | The date the task is due, if it has one. |
| Created | The date the task was created. |
Click a column title to sort by it.
Status
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Open | The task is waiting on its assignee. |
| Blocked | The task can't be done yet because it's waiting on another task. |
| Overdue | The task is open and past its due date. A task that is both blocked and overdue shows Blocked, because it can't be done yet. |
| Submitted | You sent your answers and the task is waiting on Orderful to process them. |
| Complete | The task is done. |
| Withdrawn | Orderful closed the task because it's no longer needed. |
When sorting or grouping by status, tasks are ordered Overdue, Blocked, Open, Submitted, Complete, Withdrawn.
Urgency
Urgency is shown as a small meter next to the label. Orderful sets urgency to help you decide what to do first; you can't change it. A task can hold up other tasks without being urgent.
Related To
For a task tied to a trading partner, Related To shows the partner's name and icon. Hover over it to see a card with:
- Where the partnership stands: Live, Inactive, the go-live step it's on, or Not Live
- The partnership's next step
- The go-live date, the number of live Relationships, and the partner's ISA ID
The card is for reference only. It doesn't link to the partnership yet.
Search, filter, and group
Use the toolbar above the table:
- Search Tasks — Finds tasks by title.
- Grouping — Choose No Grouping, or group by Related To, Status, Urgency, or Assigned To. Grouping by Related To is a quick way to see everything outstanding for one trading partner.
- Whose tasks — Choose Everyone, Your Team, or Trading Partners.
- Task state — Choose Active, Closed, or All. The count next to Active shows how many active tasks you have.
- Active includes tasks you've submitted that are waiting on Orderful.
- Closed includes tasks that are complete and tasks Orderful withdrew.
Large lists
The table loads tasks 100 at a time and shows how many you're viewing, for example Showing 100 of 240. When you sort, or group by status or urgency, Orderful loads the remaining tasks too (up to 500 per list) so an urgent task doesn't get left out on a later page.
Row actions
Click the … menu at the end of a row, or right-click the row, to:
- View Task — Open the task. Clicking the row does the same.
- Mark Complete — Available on your own open tasks that don't have a form. You can undo it right after.
Tasks that have a form are completed by submitting the form. See Answer a Task Form.
